Accommodation Road Lodge / Town Lodge or similar Day 1 - Today we shall visit Oudtshoorn, a town synonamous with the world famous Cango Caves and ostrich. There are several historic monuments and the fascinating architecture of the sandstone buildings, built at the beginning of the century by ostrich farmers and dubbed the "ostrich" palaces. A trip to the mountainous surroundings is a must for any nature lover. Visit a Local Reptile Park and a Cheetahs breeding station. Enjoy a panoramic drive through the countryside. Day 2 - Join us for a four-hour nature experience to the famous Featherbed Nature Reserve. We shall depart for Featherbed on the John Benn Ferry. The lagoon, the amphi-theatre of mountains that surround the town will make you fall in love with Knysna. From the quiet beauty of its evergreen forests to the soaring beauty of the Heads, Knysna is beauty in abundance. We shall enjoy lunch at the Featherbed Farm before we return to our ferry. In the late afternoon we shall visit one of the many splendid beaches like Buffalo Bay for a stroll along the beach. Day 3 - Today we shall travel to the Tsitsikamma National Park, some 100 km of coastal beauty. These magnificent forests attract visitors for hiking, cycling, horse riding or for simply exploring. They were once the source of the timber industry that was once the lifeblood of this picturesque This park is a paradise of bird and marine life, indigenous forests, fynbos and many rivers. You can still see the artists and craftsmen who work with dedication to produce the finest furniture in the land. Day 4 - Today we shall take a steam locomotive train ride on the Outeniqua ChooTjoe to Knysna through one of the most scenic routes of our country.
