12 Days Kenya and Uganda Safari

Day 1 - Meet and greet at Nairobi airport then transfer to a Nairobi Hotel for overnight.
Booked on B/O.

Day 2 - Depart from Nairobi and drive towards Samburu National Reserve. Located in the semi-arid parts of northern Kenya, Samburu teems with wildlife and birds and it is a true representative of the semi-arid ecosystems of East Africa. Arrive at a Lodge in time for lunch, in the afternoon we take a late afternoon game drive then back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.B/L/D

Day 3 - We spend the whole day driving through different locations and watching animals as they feed or groom each other. Dinner and overnight at the camp. B/L/D

Day 4 - Take an early morning game drive then return back to the Lodge for breakfast then drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Lake Nakuru is a world famous bird sanctuary with more than one million flamingoes. After our afternoon game drive in the park, we retreat to the lodge for dinner and overnight. B/L/D

Day 5 - Take an early morning game drive then return back to the Lodge for breakfast then drive to Hells Gate National Park for an afternoon talk a game walk. Return back to the Lodge for dinner and overnight. B/L/D

Day 6 - Take a boat ride round Lake Naivasha for some close encouter with the hippos and also veriaty of bird spicies. then drive along the edge of the escarpment as we enjoy good views of the Great Rift Valley with its volcanic mountains and softly rolling hills headed for Masai Mara, one of the greatest wildlife spectacles in East Africa. We arrive at a Lodge in time for lunch, in the afternoon we take a late afternoon game drive then back to the lodge for dinner and overnight. B/L/D

Day 7 - Spend the whole day driving through different locations in the mara game reserve and watching animals as they feed or groom each other. Return back to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.B/L/D

Day 8 - Before returning back to Nairobi, take an early morning game drive then return back to the Lodge for breakfast. Arriving Nairobi in the afternoon and over night at a Nairobi hotel to connect with the Uganda flight the following day. B/L

Day 9 - Arrival and transfer to Kampala, dinner and overnight Mosacourts Hotel. B/L/D

Day 10 - Departure from Kampala through beautiful green undulating countryside for Murchison Falls National Park 350 km via the districts of Luwero, Nakasongola and Masindi. Lunch break in Masindi Town before entering to the park. A visit to the top of the falls where you will get the opportunity to look down the stream plunging into a narrow gorge. Evening continue the journey to Nile Safari Camp which lies at the river bank. Dinner and overnight in comfortable and superbly romantic settings of the Camp. B/L/D

Day 11 - After early breakfast, drive to Parks Headquarters where you will cross the river using a ferry to southern banks of the Nile, some 20 miles upstream from its delta into Lake Albert. You will take a game drive through the Buligi circuit. Game to see will include buffalo, giraffe, elephant, Kob, waterbuck, hartebeest, oribi etc, plus a great variety of bird life and possibly lion or leopard. Lunch at Paraa Safari Lodge. 3.00 pm, take a boat cruise to the base of Murchison Falls, first discovered by the British explorer - Sir Samuel Baker. Here the River Nile thunders down through a chasm 20 fee wide. This boat journey is one of Uganda's classic showpieces -You will meet river wildlife including scores of hippo and Nile crocodile. It is also here that you will have the best chance of spotting the rare shoe-bill stork. Return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight. B/L/D

Day 12 - Early departure with your luggage for a guided 2/3hour tour to Pabidi/Kanyiyo Forest in search for chimpanzee and other primates as well as a variety of bird life. Continue to Masindi for a lunch break in a town restaurant. After lunch depart for Kampala and arrive in the evening and straight to Airport for your flight back to Nairobi to connect with the flight back home. B/L/D
